We’re about to become one of THOSE couples at the airport

75

There is not a person alive who can honestly say that they do not LOVE watching couples, family and friends at airports. The emotions are overboard, whether it be at the arrivals or departures gate – especially international!

I know I love it. Anai hates that I make up the backstory of all these people’s lives. I can see how it would get old when you have a layover of more than 5 hours, but I just can’t help myself (International arrivals gate is my favorite). However we will be the ones saying goodbye at the departures gate today, expect tears and all, when Anai flies off to Chile to visit her family for a month… and what do you do when your partner flies home? Well.. you take yourself on a holiday – naturally! So 10 days after Anai flies off to Chile, I’m boarding my flight to… you’ll have to wait and see.

We will both return to Brisbane on the same day (25 July) and resume our Aussie trip. So a heads to up to expect some different content here, little bit of sappiness as we miss each other and joy as we have our own separate adventures!

While we’re away from each other in such different worlds, we have committed to post at least one photo a day each to the Colour of Sunshine Instagram account, to share our adventures with each other – and you! Follow the tag #postcardsparamiamor and play along at home if you’re away from your amor too.

Also on a sappier note, wish us luck. This is the longest we have been apart for in 7 years! Gross right. We know #sorrynotsorry
